Setup with failover (or redundant)

As explained in the Installation Introduction, ShareAspace has been designed so it can be deployed with Redundancy. What is meant by Redundancy in the context of ShareAspace is the capability of having the main component of ShareAspace (ShareAspace Host Node) available even in case of:

  • System Failure
  • System Shutdown for maintenance
  • etc.

A ShareAspace setup with Failover/Redundancy is recommended if high availability is needed. In this case a ShareAspace Host failover setup is necessary.

This setup can also be combined with an external Load Balancer.
