Setup with failover (or redundant)
As explained in the Installation Introduction, ShareAspace has been designed so it can be deployed with Redundancy
.
What is meant by Redundancy
in the context of ShareAspace is the capability of having the main component of ShareAspace (ShareAspace Host Node) available even in case of:
- System Failure
- System Shutdown for maintenance
- etc.
A ShareAspace setup with Failover/Redundancy is recommended if high availability is needed. In this case a ShareAspace Host failover setup is necessary.
This setup can also be combined with an external Load Balancer.
